WE'RE HIRING – QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN – IMMEDIATE START £42,000 – £47,000 | Full Time | Harpenden, Hertfordshire We're looking for an experienced electrician to join our team at KG Electrical Contractors For those who don't know us, we're a Harpenden-based electrical contractor, established in 2013. We're a small, friendly team specialising in high-end residential projects, garden and landscape lighting, listed buildings and luxury refurbishments. We work on some really interesting projects across Hertfordshire, North London and the surrounding areas, and with plenty of work ahead of us, we're looking for another electrician to join the team. THE ROLE You'll be working alongside a trainee electrician, running jobs with the support of our Technical Supervisor, Operations Manager and myself. We've put a lot of effort into making life easier for our engineers. Materials are organised and preordered, jobs are scheduled, paperwork is digital and there's an office team behind you to keep everything running. The idea is simple – you can get on with the electrical work without having to worry about all the organisation. Work includes domestic rewires, consumer unit upgrades, fault finding, garden lighting installations and some commercial maintenance. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Fully qualified electrician – AM2 & 18th Edition Minimum 4 years' domestic experience Inspection & Testing (2391) desirable Clean UK driving licence Own hand and power tools Someone who takes pride in their work, is reliable and can run jobs confidently Able to travel to our Harpenden office each morning Garden lighting experience would be great, but isn't essential. WHAT'S ON OFFER £42,000 – £47,000 depending on experience Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm Company van, fuel card & laptop 25 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with service Your birthday off (if it falls on a weekday!)
