Fully Qualified Electrician Required

Location: Liverpool / Merseyside and UK-wide projects

Fagan Electrical Ltd is looking for an experienced and fully qualified Electrician to join our growing and highly skilled team.

With over 31 years of experience, Fagan Electrical specialises in electrical design, installation, testing and maintenance across music, theatre and entertainment venues, as well as commercial and industrial environments.

We work on a diverse range of exciting projects, from small installations through to major venue developments, festivals and large-scale entertainment environments. We are looking for a motivated, professional electrician who takes pride in producing high-quality work and is keen to be part of a specialist and ambitious team.

THE ROLE

The successful candidate will be involved in a varied range of electrical work, including:

Electrical installation and maintenance
Testing, inspection and fault finding
General power and lighting installations
Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
Emergency lighting
Fire alarm installations and testing
Electrical work within commercial, industrial and entertainment environments
Working on music, theatre and live entertainment venues
Working on projects throughout the UK, where required
Ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally and to the highest standards

Essential Requirements

APPLICANTS MUST:

Be a fully qualified electrician with recognised UK qualifications
Hold NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or an equivalent recognised qualification
Hold the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS 7671)
Have proven experience as a qualified electrician
Be confident working independently and as part of a team
Have excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Have a strong understanding of current electrical regulations
Be reliable, adaptable and professional
Take pride in producing high-quality, clean and tidy work
Hold a full UK driving licence
Be willing to travel and work on projects across the UK when required

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

THE FOLLOWING WOULD BE ADVANTAGEOUS:

City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing

ECS Gold Card

Experience carrying out EICRs
Experience within commercial or industrial installations
Experience within theatres, music venues, live events or entertainment environments
Experience with specialist lighting, power distribution or temporary installations
