Electrical Improver

About this role

Hybrid Electrical Solutions Ltd is a growing mechanical and electrical solutions business with offices in Manchester and London.

We are currently seeking experienced Electrical Improver to join our team on a permanent basis, working on projects across London. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled engineers with experience in the installation of electrical containment systems, particularly metal frames and bracketry and associated tray work.

Key Responsibilities

Installation of stainless-steel containment systems to a high standard.
Working from technical drawings and site specifications.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry regulations.
Carrying out containment and electrical installations on tunnel refurbishment projects.
Maintaining high levels of workmanship and attention to detail.
Collaborating effectively with site teams and project managers.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Containment Engineer or Electrical Improver.
Competency in Unistrut and tray/metal work.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong understanding of health and safety requirements on site.
Valid ECS/CSCS card.
Full UK driving licence desirable.
Comfortable working at height and from MEWPs.

Preferred:

• MEWP/IPAF ticket

• Highways Passport

• Highways electrical experience

• Level 2/3 City and Guilds

• 18th Edition

Experience of working in similar environments of transport infrastructure is preferred, so experience of working for TFL, Crossrail etc would be beneficial.

Applicant will need to be located within commutable distance from the South East London area initially, with further projects likely to be located further south of here.
