Electrical Contractors – Framework Tender Opportunity

About this role

We are inviting experienced electrical contractors to express interest in a major public sector electrical framework opportunity with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (Merseytravel).

This framework covers the delivery of electrical maintenance, minor works, and capital infrastructure projects across transport and public assets within the Liverpool City Region.

Scope of Work Includes:
1. Electrical maintenance and reactive repairs
2. Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
3. Electrical testing, inspection, and certification
4. Fault finding and emergency call-outs
5. Lighting, power distribution, and control systems maintenance
6. Electrical installations and refurbishment works
7. Substation, switchgear, and infrastructure upgrades
8. Large-scale capital works delivered via mini-competition

Key Information:
1. Framework duration: 2026–2030
2. Two-lot structure (Minor Works & Capital Works)
3. Works issued via schedule of rates and mini-competition
4. Long-term public sector infrastructure programme

Requirements:
Proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical projects
Qualified electricians with relevant certifications
Strong health & safety compliance experience
Ability to work in live operational environments
Capacity to deliver both minor works and large infrastructure projects
