We are currently recruiting experienced Approved Electricians for long-term work on prestigious HS2 infrastructure projects across London.

Key Responsibilities

As an Approved Electrician, your duties will include but not be limited to:
• Installation of electrical containment systems in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Installation of trunking, basket, conduit, cable tray and ladder rack systems.
• Modular containment installation and assembly.
• Supporting cable pulling and cable management activities where required.
• Reading, interpreting and working from technical drawings, schematics and installation plans.
• Ensuring all installations are completed to a high standard and in compliance with current electrical regulations.
• Carrying out work safely and efficiently while adhering to site-specific health and safety procedures.
• Identifying and reporting installation issues or potential improvements to supervisors and project management teams.
• Working collaboratively with electricians, supervisors, site managers and other trades to ensure programme deadlines are achieved.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, housekeeping and professionalism on site at all times.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A valid ECS/JIB Gold Card.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Demonstrable experience in electrical installation work within commercial, industrial or infrastructure environments.
• Proven experience installing containment systems, including trunking, ladder rack, cable tray, basket and conduit.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and site documentation.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements on construction sites.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A proactive approach with strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Desirable
• Previous experience working on rail, infrastructure or large-scale construction projects.
• Experience working within highly regulated environments.
• Additional industry qualifications or safety certifications.
