About this role

Electrical rewire and consumer unit installation

• All required electrical chasing has been completed.
• Wall chases are ready for electrical installation.
• Back boxes have been installed and are ready for wiring and accessory installation.
• Electrical works can proceed directly with first-fix wiring and installation.

1. Hallway

• Rewire 2 × on/off switches
• Rewire 4 × 13A socket outlets
• Loop existing hallway downlights onto the new circuit

2. Kitchen

• Rewire 2 × pendant lights
• Rewire 2 × arch downlights
• Rewire 1 × on/off switch
• Install cooker connection
• Rewire 5 × 13A socket outlets
• Rewire 2 × 13A switched spurs

3. Big Room 1

• Rewire 1 × pendant light
• Rewire 1 × on/off switch
• Rewire 4 × 13A socket outlets

4. Lounge & Annex

• Rewire 1 × lounge pendant
• Rewire 1 × annex pendant
• Rewire 1 × lounge on/off switch
• Rewire 1 × annex on/off switch
• Rewire 4 × 13A socket outlets

5. Room 2

• Rewire 1 × pendant light
• Rewire 1 × on/off switch
• Rewire 3 × 13A socket outlets

6. Bathroom

• Rewire 1 × pendant light
• Rewire 1 × on/off switch
• Rewire 2 × mirror downlights

7. Consumer Unit

Supply and install a new 7-way consumer unit with SPD, including:

• Consumer unit with SPD
• Meter tails
• RCBO protection: B6 / B16 / B20 / B32 / B40
• Associated electrical installation labour
• Complete first-fix installation

8. Earthing & Bonding

• Gas bonding
• Water bonding

9. Testing & Certification

• Electrical testing
• Notify Building Control as required
• Issue EICR / relevant electrical certification on completion
